In this special edition, we have been brewing secrets in the midst of lockdowns and uncertainty. . The story unfolds across the sculpture gardens of Museum of Goa, where mad magic creatures come together with performances, ranging from pure melodic explorations on a guitar with the blues wizard to Rudy’s  saxophone and interactive mime performances to otherworldly dancefloors.

The LaLaLaboratory is a collaboration between the LaLa Foundation based in the Netherlands and Gotcha Impact Media Pvt. Ltd in India, the creator and organiser of the LaLaLand Festival, a two-day festival held annually in Goa since 2018 (www.lalalandfestival.in)

Cultural exchange is central to the programming of the festival which is at the intersection of contemporary circus, acrobatics, music, dance and theatre and is a mix of local, national and international performances.

Cultural exchange is essential to society as it ensures diversity and acceptance of others and acceptance of other ideas.

The secret headquarters of LaLaLab is the Strange Bar. Here, unravel the inner workings of the mad magical scientists minds. The mixologists in our HQ are Stranger and Sons.  

 

Strange beings and stranger drinks fill up the aura of mixing multidisciplinary art practices and bringing out lalalaboratory’s signature piece. 

 

Imagine wild foods, like a plate of crickets! And unique Goan ingredients such as bimli and …! We will collaborate with small experimental food artists who are pushing the boundaries of how strange our plates could be!
